What does mobile car detailing involve?

We roll up directly to your driveway or commercial site with all our polishers, extractors, and gear to detail your ride on the spot. You just supply an active outdoor garden tap and a standard 240V power point.

Who is Blacktop Car Detailing?

We are an Ellenbrook-based mobile car detailing team. We deliver uncompromising, showroom-standard results on tough daily utes, family haulers, and high-end performance builds.

What parts of Perth do you service?

We travel across the Perth metro area, including North and South of the River, the Western Suburbs, and the Perth Hills. Check our service map or drop us a line to confirm your location.

Do you come straight to my house?

Dead right. We carry out the vast majority of our work in driveways, carports, and home garages.

Can I book a detail while I'm at work?

Absolutely. We just require authorised access to the parking bay, clear working space around the vehicle, and nearby power and tap connections.

How long will the job take?

A routine Essential detail runs around 2 hours, while full paint correction and multi-stage ceramic coatings can require 1–2 days of intensive work.

Do I have to wait around while you detail?

No. You simply need to unlock the vehicle and hand over the keys at arrival, then be there to inspect the finished work on site before payment.

Is your business fully insured?

Yes. Blacktop maintains comprehensive public liability insurance covering all operations on your property.

What detailing gear and chemicals do you run?

We use commercial-grade, pH-balanced washes, heavy-duty interior extractors, and high-performance polishes and ceramic coatings tested to survive Perth's harsh UV conditions.

Can you detail caravans, boats, or motorbikes?

Send through clear photos. We will assess the rig and confirm whether we can take the job on.

How do I sign off on the finished job?

You inspect the vehicle with us on the spot before making payment. If you spot anything amiss, we fix it right then and there. Once you approve the work and we pack up, the job is final and we do not provide return visits.

How frequently does a vehicle need detailing in Perth?

Book a comprehensive detail every 3–6 months. Regular maintenance washes between sessions will keep your paint and interior shielded against harsh WA sun and grit.

Are gift vouchers available?

Yes. Send us a message and we will put together a gift voucher for any detail package or individual service.

Must I supply an on-site water source?

All we need is access to an outdoor garden tap. We do not carry water tanks. Our commercial hose lines run straight from your tap to your vehicle.

Do I have to provide electricity?

Yes, just access to a standard domestic power outlet. We do not haul generators. Our heavy-duty extension reels run polishers, vacuums, and extractors directly from your plug.

What if my tap or power point is a long way from the car?

Our commercial extension reels and long hose lines handle most driveways and parking bays with ease. Note the distance in your booking notes so we arrive fully equipped.

Does your mobile wash follow Waterwise WA guidelines?

Yes. We adhere strictly to Waterwise guidelines using low-water washing methods that consume a tiny fraction of a standard garden hose wash.

What sort of workspace do you require?

We need roughly a car's width of clear room down each flank, plus unblocked access to open every door and the boot.

Can you carry out detailing inside apartment car parks?

In most cases, yes, assuming strata or building managers give approval. Give us the run-down of your parking setup when requesting your appointment.

Are you able to work undercover?

Yes. A garage bay or carport is our preferred environment for precision paint correction and ceramic coating application.

Will your detailer leave mess behind?

Never. We manage runoff responsibly and keep our work zone clean. The site is left orderly when we pack down.

What happens if the vehicle is locked in a garage?

Coordinate access with us beforehand, or place your garage remote and vehicle key in a secure spot on site.

How do you handle detailing in brutal Perth heat?

Blacktop operates 24/7. During intense summer heat, we can detail at dawn, dusk, or overnight so professional chemicals never bake or flash off hot body panels.

Do you need access to my car keys?

Yes. Keys are required to work through the cabin for interior detailing and to reposition the car if space is tight.

Does your detailing equipment make loud noise?

Extraction machines and rotary polishers produce operational sound. For late-evening or overnight jobs, we structure louder stages to minimise disruption to neighbours.

How do I secure a booking?

Head to the Booking tab, call +61 480 833 037, or reach out on WhatsApp at +61 468 175 988. We will confirm your appointment directly.

Is my online booking confirmed immediately?

No. Booking online sends an appointment request. Our team confirms every slot personally by phone, SMS, or WhatsApp.

How much advance notice is required?

Allow roughly 3–7 days for standard details. For multi-stage paint correction and ceramic coatings, book 1–2 weeks in advance.

Can I get a same-day mobile detail?

Often, yes. Because we run 24/7, gaps open up. Drop us a message on WhatsApp and we will pinpoint our earliest available window.

What are your service hours?

We operate 24/7 across every single day of the week, covering early mornings, late nights, and public holidays.

Am I able to reschedule my detail?

Yes. Rescheduling is completely free provided you notify us at least 24 hours prior to the job.

What terms apply to cancellations?

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or call-outs where our van cannot access the car may incur a fee as outlined in our Terms.

What happens if rain hits on the day?

Interior details can typically proceed. If outdoor conditions make exterior washes or polishing unsafe, we will reschedule the appointment at zero extra charge.

Can I book multiple cars at the same location?

Yes. Grouping multiple vehicles at one address in Aveley, Dayton, or across Perth metro can unlock multi-car package pricing.

Should I clear personal belongings out first?

Please clear out all personal belongings and valuables. An empty interior ensures we can scrub and extract every single corner.

Do you send an appointment reminder?

Yes. We send an alert out 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Can I send photos of my vehicle beforehand?

Yes. Forwarding photos gives us a clear look at intense grime, dog hair, or swirl marks so we can price the work with total accuracy.

What does mobile car detailing Perth cost?

Individual mobile detailing services begin at $79 and full packages start from $189. Check the Prices tab for baseline rates based on vehicle size.

Do vehicle dimensions alter the price?

Yes. Rates are structured for Hatch/Sedan, SUV/Wagon, and 4WD/7-Seater vehicles.

Are the quotes on the site fixed?

Listed rates are indicative. Heavy red dirt, severe pet hair, or deep mud demands extra machine work, which we will point out before starting any work.

Is a travel fee applied?

Not across our regular Perth metro operational zones. Suburbs well beyond our normal perimeter may incur a minor travel call-out fee.

What payment options are available?

We take debit/credit card, bank transfer, and cash. Settlement occurs immediately upon job completion after your inspection.

Is an upfront deposit necessary?

Standard detailing jobs require no deposit. Dedicated paint correction and ceramic coating bookings may require an upfront deposit to lock the date.

Can you provide a custom quote?

Yes. Send photos of the machine via WhatsApp or our Contact form and we will generate an exact quote.

Do packages provide better overall value?

Yes. Bundling interior and exterior detailing into a package delivers a noticeable discount compared to booking services piecemeal.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

All rates displayed are listed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Do you offer fleet or corporate rates?

Yes. See our Commercial & Fleet section below or contact us directly to set up tailored corporate rates.

Do you have ongoing maintenance detailing plans?

Yes. We offer recurring fortnightly and monthly appointments at discounted rates to keep your vehicle protected year-round.

What makes paint correction cost more?

It demands technical precision and serious hours on the machine, frequently requiring a full day or more to execute properly.

What does an interior detail cover?

Thorough vacuuming, trim, air vents, centre console, door panels, glass, steam sanitisation, plus carpet and upholstery treatments tailored to your package.

Will stain removal get rid of everything?

Dirt, food spills, and drink marks pull out cleanly in most cases. Heavy dyes, permanent ink, or ancient set-in stains might only lighten.
